Department of Social Forestry, Kushtia, MA Rahim Road (PTI Road), Kushtia. Kushtia Social Forest Department is comprised of Kushtia, Meherpur and Chuadanga districts. All the forestry activities of the three districts are monitored from here.

Administrative Background of Social Forest Division, Kushtia (Kushtia, Meherpur and Chuadanga District) :

A separate extension Division of forest was started on 1981-1982. "Kushtia Forest Extension" division. Under this forest division, the activities of the 13 upazilas of the 3 administrative districts (Kushtia, Meherpur and Chuadanga) were controlled by the SFNTC. The rank of a Deputy conservator of Forests is that of the forest officer of the rank who conducts all activities. Under the reorganization of the organizational structure of the Forest Department, the Forest Department became the "Social Forest Division" Kushtia. The forest department has 2 social forestry zones, 6 SFNTCs and 6 SFPCs. In each zone there are one Assistant Conservator of Forests, Forest Ranger/Deputy Ranger/Forester at SFNTC and Forester/Forest Guard at SFTC.
